Building Success Together - to help us all become the best version of ourselves.

Wrens

In Wrens, we are a group of 7 pupils and a mix of year 4 and 5 with 3 adults.

We are a kind, friendly, energetic class who like to play and explore new things. We are developing a love of learning, skills and knowledge through actively participating in our lessons. We focus on supporting children’s communication and engagement in learning with creative and playful approaches. We always put the safety and happiness of children first, and provide them with a calm, positive and nurturing environment to grow and develop within.

Summer Term Snapshot

Wrens have had an interesting and exciting half-term, full of hand-on learning and discoveries. We have investigated Mary Anning and made connections to our previous science topic of fossils. In Maths we have been learning about multiplication and fractions. In English our learning has been based on the book ‘Where the Wild Things Are’. In phonics we are becoming more confident readers and listeners, being able to predict what might happen next in the story and summarise what we have just heard, these are all important skills to learn. Finally, we have spent a lot of time developing our classroom culture by understanding ourselves and our peers. We are looking forward to continuing our learning journey next half term.
